Fireworks
lit up
the
Detroit
skyline
on
Monday,
June 27,
2016
with
picturesque
views
visible
in
downtown
Detroit,
Windsor,
Canada
and
beyond.
Recognized
as one
of the
world’s
largest
and most
magnificent
fireworks
displays,
this
popular
annual
event
produced
a
dazzling
display
enjoyed
by
hundreds
of
thousands
of
spectators.
The
fireworks
was the
biggest
display
of
pyrotechnics
to date
in
its 58th
years that
has a
tradition
of
putting
on a
breathtaking
show for
metro
Detroit
and
Canadian
viewers.
As a
longtime
supporter
of The
Parade
Company,
Ford
Motor
Company
has
served
as title
sponsor
of The
Ford
Fireworks
and
presenting
sponsor
of The
Parade
Company’s
Rooftop
Party
during
The Ford
Fireworks
since
2013.
Ford’s
partnership
with The
Parade
Company
also
includes
title
sponsorship
of one
of
Detroit’s
premier
events,
Hob
Nobble
Gobble
at Ford
Field
and is
the
official
vehicle
of
America’s
Thanksgiving
Parade®
presented
by Art
Van.
New this
year,
Ford
Motor
Company
offered
free
admission
to Belle
Isle for
the
first
1,000
vehicles
for
the fireworks
on
Monday
night by
providing DNR
Recreation
Passports.
This
pass may
be used
at all
participating
Michigan
State
Parks
for the
remainder
of 2016.
Zambelli
Fireworks
Internationale staged more
than
10,000
pyrotechnic
effects
visible
for
miles
along
the
Detroit
River.
This
year’s
show
was
themed
“Go
Forward
Detroit,”
a salute
to the
progress
of
Detroit
and
bright
future
of our
city. It
was choreographed
again by
the
world-renowned
Patrick Brault
who has
years of
experience
designing
pyrotechnic
displays
including
the 2010
Winter
Olympics
in
Vancouver.
As one
of The
Parade
Company’s
largest
and most
popular
fundraisers
of the
year,
The Ford
Fireworks
Rooftop
Party
offered
the best
seats in
the city
to view
the
fireworks.
Guests
attending
the
event
experienced
live
music by
Detroit’s
own
Fifty
Amp
Fuse,
food by Andiamo,
games,
giveaways
and more
for
all the
guests.
The
fireworks
show was
truly a
night to
remember.
