Protesters
marched
in
Detroit
to
demand
action
on the
disappearance
of 43
students
from a
teachers
college
in
Mexico.
The
students
from the
Rural
Normal
School
at
Ayotzinapa
were
last
seen in
September.
The
Mexican
government
said a
group of
students
traveled
to
Iguala
to steal
buses
and said
police
shot and
killed
six
people.
Mexican
officials
said
they now
believe
that a
drug
gang
killed
the
other
students
and
incinerated
their
bodies.
The
group
Michigan
Solidarity
Network
with
Mexico
has been
traveling
around
the U.S.
with
parents
of some
of the
missing
students.
The
group
held a
march
Sunday
from St.
Anne’s
Catholic
Church
to Clark
Park in
southwest
Detroit.
Marchers
carried
signs
with the
word
“disappeared”
over the
faces of
the
missing
