it features legends in the music industry. Last year, it was

whirlwind
week
during
the 2010
CES with
a free
concert
headlined
by R&B
superstar
John
Legend
held at
the
Paris
Hotel
Casino
Resort
Ballroom
on the
Las
Vegas
Strip
Friday
night. A
performance
billed
as “John
Legend
and
Special
Guests”
included
his
brother
Vaughn
Anthony
and
Motown
great
Stevie
Wonder
making
the show
a
magical
evening.
Over
five
thousand
CES
professionals
packed
the
house to
enjoy
the
concert
and
learned
who won
the
coveted
Monster
Retailer
Awards.
Winners
were
chosen
in a
variety
of
categories
including
the top
award,
the
"Gold
Most
Monsterous
Retailer
of the
Year."
To our
surprise,
a metro
Detroit
company,
ABC
Warehouse
was
nominated
in two
categories
and
walked
away
with the
coveted
"Most
Monsterous
Silver
Achievement
Award
for an
Electronics
and
Appliance
Retailer
in 2009.
Pontiac,
MI based
ABC
Warehouse
won the
award
based on
the
highest
Monster
Sales
percentages
within
their
retail
category.
This
special
award is
presented
to
Monster
Cable's
finest
retailers
in the
world.

January

Attendees
saw why
Monster
received
the
prestigious
Innovations
2010
Design
and
Engineering
Award at
this
year's
event.
Legend
sang fan
favorite
hits
from all
three of
his
Grammy
award
winning
albums.
He was
joined
on stage
by his
brother
and
music
legend
Stevie
Wonder
to cap
off the
night.
Wonder
flew out
to Vegas
solely
for the
purpose
of
singing
in the
finale
with
Legend,
showing
once
again
the
respect
musicians
have for
Monsters
audio/visual
equipment.

the set,
Head
Monster
Noel Lee
presented
Legend
with a
Monster
Lifetime
Achievement
Award
before
they
both
introduced
surprise
guest
Stevie
Wonder.
The
crowd
jumped
to its
feet for
the
duration
of the
show,
and a
sea of
cell
phones
went up,
as
people
were
eager to
capture
a shot
of the
two
performers
sitting
keyboard
to
keyboard
and
performing
together
for this
special
appearance.

performed
“Ordinary
People”
and “My
Cherie
Amour”
to close
out the
night.
It’s
been a
packed
Las
Vegas
agenda
for
John, as
he was
scheduled
to
celebrate
his
birthday
at Haze
in Aria
at
CityCenter
last
night.
All-in-all,
it was a
great
performance
and a
top
notch
event
for the
team at
Monster.
Then
again
it’s not
hard to
hold a
top
notch
event
when
Stevie
Wonder
is a
surprise
guest of
honor.
