Celebrates
the Life
of the
“King of
Pop
In
recognition
of his
artistry
and
musical
genius,
the
Charles
H.
Wright
Museum
is open
for all
this
Tuesday,
July 7th
at 1
p.m.
Eastern/10
a.m.
Pacific
Time in
its GM
Theatre
to
celebrate
the life
of the
undisputed
"King of
Pop,"
Michael
Jackson.
The
2-hour
broadcast
of the
memorial
service
will be
presented
on the
Museum's
large
screen,
in
coordination
with the
international
broadcast
from Los
Angeles'
Staples
Center.
The
Jackson
family
has
confirmed
that
several
personalities
from
places
that
Michael
called
"home"
will be
performing
tributes
to him,
including
Detroit's
own
Diana
Ross and
Gary,
Indiana's
Denies
Williams
and
Kellee
Patterson.
The
Charles
H.
Wright
Museum
welcomes
you to
share in
Michael's
memorial
and
homegoing.
There is
no
admission
charge
for this
gathering.
Seating
is not
reserved
and is
first
come,
first
served.
The
Museum
is
located
at 315
E.
Warren
Avenue
in
Detroit,
Mich.
In
commemoration
of
Michael
Jackson’s
lifetime
of
achievements,
on
Tuesday,
July 7th
the
Museum
will
charge
US $5.00
admission
for
people
ages 4+
to view
the
current
exhibitions.
Children
under
3-years
of age
are free
of
charge.
