LANSING- Today, the Rick for
Michigan campaign launched a new ad called
“Pam.” The ad features Pam Williams, a
retired Michigan public school teacher and
union member, setting the record straight on
the Governor’s increased investment in
education.
The ad references the Lansing
State Journal article from September 30,
2014 which called Mark Schauer’s allegation
of education cuts a “big and persistent lie”
and the Detroit Free Press article from
February 2, 2014 which says, “Snyder can
truthfully say he had increased state
funding for K-12 education each year since
he took office.”

“Governor Snyder’s record on
education is clear with state funding for
K-12 education increasing every year since
taking office,” said Communications Director
Emily Benavides. “In fact, Michigan K-12
state education funding is $1 billion higher
than when the Governor took office, its
highest level in state history. Governor
Snyder believes a solid education for our
children is important to keep Michigan on
the Road to Recovery.”
