Superstar Designer to Keynote Jackets for Jobs Celebration

DETROIT - Mark your calendars fashionistas! The internationally heralded Tracey Reese, fashion designer to dignitaries and celebrities, will deliver the keynote address at Jackets for Jobs Inc’s brunch, “Celebrating 15 Years”, at Midtown’s historic Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History on Thursday, April 23, at 10 AM.

A Cass Tech and Parsons The New School for Design graduate, Reese has created stunning designs worn by First Lady Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker and Taylor Swift. Her daring designs are featured in leading stores and boutiques in the U.S. and abroad. Committed to bringing out the beauty in women of all shapes, sizes and colors, Reese’s creations are inspired by nature, art, dance, travel and global cultures. Inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America, she serves on its Board of Directors. She champions many charities and social issues.
