to
fulfill
its
mission
to help
children,
families
and

to have
a higher
quality
of life.
The
annual
gala
serves a
dual
purpose
to honor
local
heroes
for
their
involvement
and
commitment
to
community
service
as well
as those
who
provide
the
services.
Master
of
Ceremonies-Andrew
Humphrey
of WDIV-TV
Local 4,
Monique
Marks,

and CEO
and Rev.
Robert
Dulin,

did an
outstanding
job of
ensuring
that the
events
flowed
to keep
all
participants
actively
engaged.

Loretta
V.
Davis,

when
they
provided
excellent
care and
services
after
his
son’s
difficult
birth
and
development
issues.
All of
the
recipients
shared
their
personal
commitments
to the
services
provided
by the
organization.
Dreams
do come
true as
shown in
the
humble
yet
strong
and
determined
personality
of
Central
State
University
student,
Justin
Woods.
He is
the
product
of the
nurturing
spirit
and
support
provided
by
Franklin-Wright
Settlement.
He told
of his
gratitude
for
survival
and
success
because
of
Monique

family
as well
as
others
in the
organization
who
provided
every
aspect
of
support
that
helped
to mold
his
ability
to set
attainable
goals.
A
spectacular
performance
by The
Detroit
Academy
of Arts
and
Sciences
Choir
put
everything
in
perspective.
The
children
are a
visual
to
remind
us that
we are
all
stewards
who have
a
responsibility
to
provide
quality
leadership
and
support
for our
future.
We are
fortunate
to have
Franklin-Wright
Settlement
serving
as a
beacon
in
Detroit.
